VOLUNTEERING

Volunteering is critical to all non-profit organizations and charities.

It is the cornerstone on which the personality of the SPACE has been built.

We rely on gracious volunteers to continue our mission. We able to use all in-kind volunteer hours and donated services toward the operating grants we receive, which means we are able to turn volunteer hours into money that funds our mission.

Volunteering alongside community members allows you the opportunity to connect with others and meet new people while impacting our community in a positive way.

The SPACE encourages and expects all registered families to volunteer for two events or projects during the season*.

*Should a family not be able to commit to volunteering a $150 donation is required.

Cooks Creek Dance Academy

CCDA offers a variety of dance classes for ages 3 years to adult. Small class sizes enhance the quality of student learning and ensure individual attention. Each year, CCDA students participate in the South Eastern Manitoba Festival in addition to other festivals, workshops, and competitions. The dance season culminates with an Annual Recital where students can show off their dance moves!

Springfield Theatre Company

STC is a semi-professional musical theatre company for youth ages 8+ years (depending on the show chosen for that year). Each year the company produces a musical with auditions being held in late May. Many months of preparation go into the production giving STC students optimal exposure to all 3 components of musical theatre: acting, singing, and dancing.
