ABOUT US
Dance. Act. Perform. Create.
The SPACE is a Charitable organization that brings the world of the arts to the rural community of Springfield, Manitoba and surrounding area through a variety of art classes including many styles of dance, theatre, visual, literary, music and much more. Our highly trained and certified instructors have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various styles and disciplines. VOLUNTEERING
The SPACE prides itself on creating a community within the community.
Volunteering is the cornerstone on which the personality of the SPACE has been built!
As the world navigates its way out of the current public health crisis volunteering alongside a member of
the community to support the youth of community will also have benefits in mental health and insecurities for
all involved as we begin to come together once again to experience the arts and all it has to offer!
The SPACE encourages and expects all registered families to volunteer for one event or project during the season*.
*Should a family not be able to commit to volunteering a $75 donation is required.

Cooks Creek Dance Academy
CCDA offers a variety of dance classes for ages 3 years to adult. Small class sizes enhance the quality of student learning and ensure individual attention. Each year, CCDA students participate in the South Eastern Manitoba Festival in addition to other festivals, workshops, and competitions. The dance season culminates with an Annual Recital where students can show off their dance moves!
Springfield Theatre Company
STC is a semi-professional musical theatre company for youth ages 8+ years (depending on the show chosen for that year). Each year the company produces a musical with auditions being held in late May. Many months of preparation go into the production giving STC students optimal exposure to all 3 components of musical theatre: acting, singing, and dancing.

Outreach Programs
SCPP is flexible and tailored to fit the community's needs including summer day camps, workshops, short program alternatives, drop-in classes, and so much more.
