MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
CCDA's Mentorship Program is a teacher-training program giving interested students the opportunity in a mentored environment to develop the knowledge and skills to become an effective teacher.
• Students aged 12 years and up may apply annually in late winter with a cover letter and resume.
Accepted students monitor existing classes in spring to prepare them for their responsibilities as Jr. Assistant for the coming September.
• Students progress from Jr. Assistant to Assistant through a Mentorship Teacher, a process which typically take 5 years to complete.
• Mentorship Program students are remunerated in the form of credit towards tuition and upon their first anniversary, receive an honorarium.
