Standing Ovation Campaign
Give the Gift of ........

Inspired by one of the SPACE's young performer's, the Standing Ovation Campaign is to raise funds to increase accessibility and programming at the SPACE. The young performer's words, "everyone should feel a standing ovation at least once" motivated SPACE volunteers and staff to develop the campaign to increase accessibility for all people, including those with special needs and low-income families in our rural community. Our campaign will launch on GivingTuesday Dec 2, 2014 and run until Dec 26, 2014. Donation boxes will be displayed at numerous businesses to collect donations. We have partnered with our long-supporting local financial institution, Oakbank Credit Union and Oakbank Co-op Food Store is also stepping up to the plate and collecting cashout donations at the till. Other Businesses in town that we are partnering with include: Oakbank Family Foods, Oakbank Pharmasave, Peppercorn Restaurant, Back at the Ranch, Oakbank Convenience, Oakbank Co-op Home Centre, and Dugald Convenience. We have also partnered with GivingTuesday and CanadaHelps.org to promote our initiatives and enable on-line donations. While the SPACE has been providing performing arts opportunities to our rural community for over 20 years in a not-for-profit format, we have only been a registered charity since 2013 and are just beginning to discover the charitable endeavors we are capable of delivering. We are finding that the need for our services is in great demand and require our persistent attention and dedication. We rely heavily on our members and volunteers for providing our services and are extremely grateful for their commitment to the SPACE's mission to enrich the lives of people in our community with performing arts. This holiday season give the gift of a Standing Ovation. Give the gift of inspiration. Give the Gift of Vitality. Give the gift of Possibility. Give the Gift that lasts a lifetime.
